"Stunning sessions. Thank you so much for all your support with the Wellbeing classes. The team have loved the sessions and come out of them feeling so much better!" - Lizzie, Workplace Co-ordinator

  • Please email me at: hello@janinekelly.co.uk to discuss my availability. Please let me know:

    • Where your business is based

    • Whether you would like an in-person or online session

    • Whether it is a one off session or whether you’d like it to be a weekly / monthly class.

  • My standard fee is £100 for a 15-60 minute in person or online class. This fee is for business’ based in Stockport. If your business is in Manchester, Cheshire East, Tameside, or Derbyshire I will charge more for commuting costs if the session is in person.

  • Yoga will improve your business productivity by reducing workplace stress, lowering absenteeism, and helping with staff retention.

    • My corporate classes focus on low impact movement that will help people to feel more at ease in their bodies. It’s especially useful for desk related back, neck and shoulder pain.

    • I put emphasis on mindfulness and relaxation so that employees feel less stressed and more focused in their work and everyday lives.

    • Yoga can help employees to avoid ‘burnout’. Short sessions can help with mental fatigue. This can be especially helpful in high pressured, screen heavy roles.

    • Healthier, less stressed employees tend to take fewer sick days and when they are at work, they’re more engaged rather than just “showing up.”

    • Group sessions can create a shared experience across teams, helping people connect in a low-pressure, non-work setting.

    • By offering corporate Yoga sessions you are signalling that your company values its people. That can improve job satisfaction and strengthen loyalty.

  • Yes, my corporate classes are suitable for beginners. We’ll discuss your colleagues needs and build a tailored session that is inclusive of any disabilities or injuries.

  • Currently my classes are a blend of both flowing and static held poses. I focus on teaching students to become more aware of their natural breath, which supports them in their postures. I want everyone to feel great about their bodies. We’re all unique and that’s what makes us interesting! I especially enjoy teaching the relaxation sessions at the end of each class, to give students a chance to experience a state of calm and peace that we often don’t feel in our everyday lives.

  • You don’t need a dedicated Yoga space.

If you want an in person session, employees can either practice chair Yoga at their desks, or if it’s a smaller group of people, we can use a conference room.

I also teach online and that can work really well for either desk yoga, or if people work from home then a more floor based class.

  • I live in Stockport, so I charge no extra fee for in-person classes in Stockport. I am happy to travel to South Manchester, the northern part of Cheshire East, Tameside and the north western end of Derbyshire for in person classes. I teach online for any business based beyond these areas.

  • I love teaching corporate classes online via Zoom or Teams. This works well for bigger corporations that have staff in multiple locations. Staff can practice chair yoga at their desk. Or if people work from home I can teach a more floor based physical class. Please find out more about getting started online.

  • If there are 20 students or less, I will bring my own mats and other Yoga props for employees to use. If it’s over 20 students, you will need to buy and store the mats at your workplace. For best hygiene it’s better for students to bring their own mat if they have them.

  • Yes of course. I will discuss your business needs with you at our initial consultation. It might be that you want more mindfulness for stress reduction, or yoga to help people with desk related back pain, or team building.

  • We can discuss whether it will be a chair Yoga session, in which case you can wear your usual work clothes. Or a floor based more physical class. If so, it’s best to wear clothing that you feel comfortable in. For example you might like to wear a t-shirt and leggings or jogging bottoms. Socks and jumpers are optional to keep warm. There’s no need to wear trainers as yoga is practiced bare foot.

  • I mainly teach low impact, gentle Yoga in the workplace. This is because most people don’t want to get hot and sweaty at work!

I find that chair based Yoga is really fantastic for giving employees skills to use at their desk in their everyday work life. We often focus on face yoga, gentle joint freeing movements, mindfulness, breath techniques for relaxation, meditation techniques for stress relief.

Some organisations prefer a floor based mat class. You need a little more room for this. Either a conference room or if enough people work from home, then I can teach a more movement based class via Zoom or Teams.

Classes are always suitable for beginners and I discuss health / accessibility requirements with the organisation before we start our first session.

  • I know that efficiency is important to businesses so I can teach classes ranging from 15 minutes through to 60 minutes.

This allows you to run a session during lunch, before or after work or even during the working day.

  • That depends on business to business. Some corporations run classes every day, others once a week or month or just for specific staff training or well being events.

  • Many employers ask for feedback from the employees after sessions either via poll or questionnaires. Most businesses find a reduction in work place stress and an improvement in employees concentration.

  • Yes of course this is standard practice for me.

  • Please see my cancellations policy for more information.
